McClellan dispells the lies of the Bush agenda. →

If you missed the news….

For years I thought Scott McClellan was the puppet of the anti-christ (George W Bush), and truth be told… he was.

My my, hindsight truly is 20/20. I for one can’t wait to read this book. BURN BUSH BURN!!

Stopped by my local mom & pop hardware store this morning, and they had Monster Duct Tape Wallets at the counter for $ix bucks! In college, I used to make these. In acting school, classic move, I also made a duct tape necktie onstage. People still talk about it. There are instructions all over the internets for how to make your own - wallets not neckties. - Max

60 Minutes: The Age of the Millenials upset me a little bit, but perhaps that’s because the producers chose 76 y.o. Morley Safer, arguably one of the best bcjs of his generation - that of our grandparents - to tell this story. I get it, pit the 76 y.o. man against these “nutty” kids, and see how he fares. Perhaps, it’s the great generalization that all of us born after 1980 require this new treatment. Perhaps, it’s because from the time I was born, I was told I was “special.” Fred Rogers be damned, I am special. I have always marched to my own drum, and I’m proud of it. As I’ve aged, I’ve learned - slower, but certainly different than what’s typical - what I want from life. I could go on forever, but alas, I am late for my “9 to 5.” 60 minutes, next time, how about giving a young buck a stab at a story such as this? - Max

Looks like the ‘stache made it into the “pork and beans” video along with an impressive cadre of internet phenoms. - Mike

On Memorial Day, I had the pleasure of BBQing with this guy… Lion of Ido.

Ido churns out a pop-rock sound with a powerful voice that sounds a bit like Eddy Vedder is trying to work his way on the OC Soundtrack. Regardless, the tunes are tasty, fun, and well written. Certainly most impressive however is the fact that Ido plays nearly all (13) instruments on the album… many of which are obscure and sound fantastic when tracked together.

He will be coming to NYC again soon. Ill keep y’all posted. Its sure to be a grand evening.

Hugs

I know this is not the freshest thing on the net… but these two guys make me proud to be half Kiwi.

You say you want more? Well I’m not suprised.

Thought this would be a cool slice of film to kick off my contribution to the blog. Breakdancing Russians. Sweet.

Hugs and kisses

I told myself I was done posting for this long weekend because I in fact, do have things I should be doing instead. But how can I pass this up? This guy painted his room to look exactly like the Bubble Man level of Mega Man 2, which I have recently started playing again. From Boing Boing: ”The project took me three months to complete and was ‘unveiled’ to my roommates for a Christmas party in 2006. I measured, stenciled, painted, and touched up every detail entirely by hand.”   -JP
